    We are currently looking for an MRI Technologist for a 13-week contract.

    Shift:
    • Shift: M-F, 2pm-10pm
      Call requirements: 14 hours every third week
    Job Summary:
    • Scan a wide variety of exams, the primary patient population is adult Inpatients and ED patients.
    • Able to maintain a safe MRI environment with a focus on safety and patient care.
    • Occasional stroke protocol for both IP and ED patients.
    • Equipment: GE Artist 1.5, Fuji Oasis 1.2 open or Siemens mobile
    MRI Technologist Responsibilities:
    • Analyzing patient histories and completing screenings for pacemakers and injuries where metal objects were involved.
    • Preparing and administering contrast dyes.
    • Addressing patients' concerns and ensuring that they are comfortable and calm during scans.
    • Performing regular inspections of the MRI equipment and machines, and scheduling maintenance and repairs as needed.
    • Positioning the patients and completing MRI scans according to the physicians' specifications.
    Requirements:
    • Must have 1 year of recent MRI Technologist Experience
    • Must have valid BLS (American Heart Association)
    • ARRT(R)(MR)
    • VA license required
    MRI PROCEDURE EXPERIENCE: Abdomen, Pelvis, Head/Neck, Chest, Spine, Musculoskeletal, Diffusion (non-brain), Gradient Echo Imaging, Image Post-Processing, Maximum Intensity Projection (MIP), Multiplanar Reconstruction (MRP), Perfusion, Peripheral Magnetic Resonance, Spectroscopy, Spin Echo Images, Surface Coils, T-1 & T-2 Weighted Images
