We are currently engaged in a search for a Registered Nurse specializing in Cath Lab procedures on behalf of our esteemed partner, a Level III trauma center located in Fort Mohave, AZ.

Position Overview: As a Registered Nurse in the Cath Lab, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional patient care during cardiac procedures. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Perform pre-operative assessments, including patient history review and physical examinations.
• Assist in the preparation of patients for catheterization procedures, ensuring appropriate consent and patient education.
• Monitor patients during procedures, assessing vital signs, and responding promptly to any changes in condition.
• Administer medications and intravenous fluids as directed by the physician.
• Assist the physician during catheterization procedures, including but not limited to angioplasty, stent placement, and pacemaker insertion.
• Provide post-procedural care and monitoring, including assessment of puncture sites and vital signs.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and their families about cardiac conditions, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications.

Qualifications:

• Active Arizona or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• Certification in Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Stroke certification preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Cath Lab unit required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
