Role - Python Developer (AWS)

Location - Johnston, IA - Hybrid role

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 9+ years of experience in developing software web applications within a scrum environment.

Proficiency in the following technologies:

AWS:

• AWS Infrastructure: Utilize Amazon Web Services (AWS) for scalability, reliability, and flexibility.
• Migration Strategy: Migrate expiring accounts to standard ones.
• Containerization: Containerize the application using Docker for portability and ease of deployment.
• AWS Expertise: Seek an AWS expert to guide the design and implementation.
• Python
• Python Services: Multiple apps are running.
• Refactoring: Necessary in API services.
• AWS Accounts: Manage and consolidate accounts.
• MySQL
• SQLAlchemy
• Oracle
• Angular 5+

Day-to-day:

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions using AWS services.
• Set up and manage AWS infrastructure as code.
• Troubleshoot issues related to AWS services and infrastructure.
• Optimize AWS application performance by enhancing existing architecture.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Knowledge of Azure cloud services and DevOps is a plus.
