As a Patient Access Representative, you will perform various job functions like billing, follow-ups, and make sure payments follow through. Greet patients as they arrive for appointments, answer phones, and schedule new and follow-up appointments.
Identify the insurance coverage, the benefits available, patient out-of-pocket expenses, and collecting co-insurance and co-payments.
Collect and verify patient and insurance demographics, identify patient preferences, and assist patients and providers by scheduling appointments.
Relay information between patients and staff members, providing them with necessary updates.

Patient Access Representative's Qualifications

A High School Diploma or GED is required.
Two (2) years of experience in the front office of a physician's office is required.
Bilingual in Spanish and English is highly preferred.
Strong attention to detail, written and verbal communication, and multi-tasking skills are required.
