    THE MODERN HOME OF AMERICAN GOLF

    Located 30 miles north of downtown Dallas, Omni PGA Frisco Resort is the largest resort currently in development in the country. Opening spring 2023, the resort will feature 500 guest rooms and suites, 10 four-bedroom ranch houses, three pools, including an adults-only rooftop infinity pool, a destination spa, Lounge by Top Golf, and over 127,000-square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space. An expansive retail and entertainment district will feature dining, shopping and an outdoor stage set to be activated for concerts and outdoor programming. The Resort will become a leading destination for golf providing an unparalleled experience for those who are advanced players, new to the game, and everything in between. The resort will offer 46 holes of golf designed by Beau Welling and Gil Hanse, including two 18-hole championship golf courses, a lighted 10-hole short course, and a lighted two-acre putting green.

    Job Description

    This position will direct all areas of Human Resources for this immaculate new large-scale, complex resort and championship golf club based in the stunning Frisco, Texas. Responsibilities include strategic oversight, leadership and execution of HR initiatives from recruiting, employee engagement, compensation, employee relations and benefits to development, training and labor relations.

    Responsibilities
    • Maintaining a strategic recruitment plan for identifying both management level positions and all hourly positions.
    • Drive/reinforce the Omni Culture and programs.
    • Administers the salary administration policies and programs. Reviews and readjusts salary ranges every 12 months; conducts local wage surveys annually; monitors merit increases pools and increases.
    • Coordinates management development and associate training. Recommends new programs based on need.
    • Oversees associate relations.
    • Stays abreast of all Federal and State laws and keeps management advised of changes which affect associate and operations.
    • Provides counsel and assistance to all management personnel regarding associate problems dealing with supervision and administration.
    • Conducts associate engagement survey in conjunction with corporate personnel.
    • Conducts Orientation and Monthly Managers training.
    • Oversees and implements administration, policies, and procedures as it related to company's Internal Audit, OFCCP reporting, FMLA and other leave of absences, and Workman's Compensation.
    • Develops and coordinates Associate relations events and special activities, awards, and internal communications.
    Qualifications
    • Four or more years of Director level experience in a four or five diamond property hotel with over 300 Associates.
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. SHRM Certification preferred.
    • Candidates must demonstrate a proven track record of successfully managing in an upscale resort environment.
    • Proven leadership skills which support an environment of associate growth and development, interdepartmental teamwork, associate relations and exceptional customer service.
    • Dynamic, enthusiastic, creative leader who thrives under pressure and is able to perform multiple functions and troubleshoot when needed.
    • Must be service and detail oriented, possessing a friendly approachable demeanor and strong problem-solving skills.
    • Computer proficiency; to include Microsoft Office and Windows
    • The ability to sit and utilize telephone/computer for an extended period.
    • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
