    This shift will be Wednesday - Sunday 5:00pm - 1:30am


    JOB PURPOSE:
    Serves as a Call Center agent to support for the Patient Access Registration Call Center within Piedmont Healthcare.

    Performs Registration activities in a remote environment to ensure patient accounts are complete with valid insurance coverage and current demographic/clinical data.

    Calculates patient financial responsibility, presents patient financial options/requirements and processes patient payments.

    Performs functions for multiple sites across Piedmont Healthcare and includes various services lines including emergency department, L&D, and assigned Outpatient locations.


    MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
    High School graduate or GED equivalent


    MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
    One (1) year exp in one of the following:


    • Healthcare Revenue Cycle
    • Clinical role
    • Related clerical accounting/finance/retail.

    MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
    None.


    ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
    Three (3) years of healthcare Revenue Cycle/Call Center experience preferred.

    Certification with Healthcare Financial Management Association or Certified Revenue Cycle Representative preferred.

    Prior Epic experience preferred.
