Civil Engineer

Join my client as a Civil Engineer Group Leader at a highly reputable, employee-owned engineering firm As part of their Water Team in Greenville, SC, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of Water/Wastewater projects and lead a team of talented professionals.

What you'll do:

• Develop civil designs for new and existing water and wastewater treatment facilities
• Design water and wastewater distribution and collection systems
• Manage a team and coordinate schedules and budgets
• Actively participate in client meetings and serve as a subject matter expert
• Recruit top talent for the Civil team
• Develop project scopes, schedules, and fees
• Mentor and provide professional development for team members
• Coordinate with other design and support disciplines
• Plan, manage, and execute civil projects
• Ensure delivery of quality work products adhering to company standards

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited program
• 7+ years of civil site design experience with 2+ years in project/team leadership
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE)
• Strong communication skills
• Experience with Autodesk software
• Understanding of multidisciplinary practices for water/wastewater projects
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite

Preferred Attributes:

• PE license in multiple states
• Master's degree in civil or environmental engineering
• 15+ years of civil engineering design experience with 5+ years in project/team leadership
• Experience with Bluebeam and MS Office products
• Cost estimation experience
• Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Bentley software, and Innovyze software
• Good relationships with clients in our service area
• Experience giving presentations for clients and professional organizations
• Strong teaching and coaching skills
• NCEES Registration
