    Delphi Healthcare, PLLC and Jefferson Anesthesiologists Service are seeking a talented Anesthesiologist to work Locum assignments at Samaritan Hospital in Watertown, NY. This assignment is a 13-week contract opportunity in Watertown, NY. This is a Monday Thru Friday opportunitySupervision of CRNAs required. (3:1 ratio CRNAs to Anesthesiologists).

    Chronic Pain Management - Never
    Cardiac Anesthesia - Never
    Thoracic Anesthesia - Rarely
    Major Vascular Anesthesia - Rarely
    Obstetric Anesthesia - Usually
    Pediatric Anesthesia - Usually
    Neuroanesthesia - Rarely
    Trauma Anesthesia - Rarely
    Critical Care Medicine - Never
    Anesthesia for outpatient surgery - Usually
    Office based Anesthesia - Never
    Administrative/ Leadership Duties - Sometimes
    Regional Anesthesia - Sometimes
    Preop Screening Clinic - Never
    Orthopedic Anesthesia - Usually
    Acute Pain Service - Rarely

    Covered: Malpractice Insurance, lodging

    Practice Highlights:
    • Serving one hospital
    • Average annual Surgeries: 6,650, Obstetrical epidurals: 900. Cesarean sections: 450
    • No neurosurgery, No cardiac surgery
    • No requirement to participate in Pain Management Clinic
    • Eight (8) Operating Rooms were newly constructed in 2010 as part of a larger building project
    • Two (2) dedicated Cesarean Section ORs nearby in L & D
    • Established robotic surgery program since 2012, upgraded to da Vinci Xi in 2019
    • Serving the military men and women from nearby Fort Drum, home to the 10th Mountain Army Division
    • Service catchment population: 250,000
    • 290-hospital beds; medical staff of 180 physicians representing 42 specialtie
    • Largest community-based hospital in Northern New York
