    Job Summary and Qualifications

    · The Plumber will install new services for domestic water, heating water, waste systems and miscellaneous piping needs.

    · Perform repairs on domestic water, heating water, fixtures and waste systems.

    · Install and repairs medical piping and outlets.

    · Perform assigned area sweeps.

    · Performs all types of maintenance and preventative maintenance work orders as assigned within required time frame.

    What qualifications you will need:

    · Knowledge of relevant building codes; knowledge of the materials, tools and techniques of construction and painting trades.

    · Works from sketches, blue prints and written instructions;

    · Exercises initiative and judgment in estimating the methods, materials and time needed to complete assigned projects;

    · Troubleshoots equipment or plumbing malfunctions to identify the problem and take appropriate action to correct the situation:

    · Work rapidly and efficiently under emergency situations;

    · Ability to perform work in rather inaccessible areas.

    · Skill in the use of a variety of hand and power tools used in the plumbing and carpentry and painting of buildings and grounds.

    · 2 years plumbing experience is required; 4 years experience is preferred

    · Experience in healthcare preferred

    · High school graduate or GED preferred; Vocational or technical training also preferred. Masters Journeyman card is preferred
