Description:

Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and licensed School Occupational Therapist for the 24-25 school year in Pawtucket, RI.

As an Occupational Therapist (OT), you will play a crucial role in supporting students' ability to participate in school activities and achieve their educational goals.

Responsibilities:

Conduct evaluations to assess students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, and ability to perform activities of daily living.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' occupational therapy needs.
Provide direct therapy services to students to improve motor coordination, sensory integration, handwriting, and selfcare skills.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to integrate therapy goals into the educational environment.
Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute valuable insights to the development of student goals and accommodations.
Monitor student progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed to promote success.
Maintain accurate and uptodate documentation of assessment results, progress reports, and treatment plans.

Requirements:

Valid Rhode Island license/certification as an Occupational Therapist.
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
Experience working with schoolaged children preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Commitment to providing highquality services to support student success.
