    Overview:
    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our dynamic agricultural company.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting, with specific experience in the agricultural industry.

    This role will play a critical part in providing strategic financial insights and supporting decision-making processes within the organization.


    Responsibilities:
    Conduct comprehensive financial analyses to support decision-making and drive business performance.

    Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.

    Analyze financial data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.

    Provide insightful commentary and recommendations based on financial analysis results.

    Lead the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to develop accurate and achievable budgets.

    Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting revenue, expenses, and cash flow.

    Monitor budget performance against actual results and provide variance analysis and explanations.


    Identify risks and opportunities in the financial forecast and collaborate with management to develop strategies to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.

    Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic initiatives and business planning processes.

    Evaluate the financial impact of potential investments, projects, and business opportunities.

    Participate in cross-functional teams to assess the financial feasibility of new products, markets, or ventures.

    Support decision-making by providing accurate and timely financial information and analysis to stakeholders.

    Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal financial policies and procedures.

    Implement and maintain effective financial controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy of financial reporting.

    Assist with internal and external audits, providing documentation and explanations as needed.


    Requirements:
    Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.

    Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, planning, and reporting, preferably in the agricultural industry.

    Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and draw actionable insights.

    Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, and financial reporting systems.

    Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts.

    Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders.

    Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

    Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and financial planning software is a plus.

    Knowledge of agricultural operations, markets, and trends is preferred.
