    Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Systems Engineer 2 (SIGINT SME) to join our team in the Columbia and Hanover, MD area
    The ideal candidate for System Engineer position will fit the following:


    • Experience supporting and deploying GOTS SIGINT systems and application tool sets
    • Experience integrating COTS solutions into end-to-end systems of systems derived from defined requirements documentation
    • Authoring statement of work (SOW) documents, Independent Cost Estimates (ICE), Functional Requirements Documents (FRD), Development, Test and Evaluation Plans, architecture diagrams, network diagrams, rack elevation diagrams, dataflow diagrams, wiring diagrams, as-built diagrams, and other pre- and post- acquisition support documents
    • Demonstrated experience supporting Life Cycle Support (LCS) services for operational capabilities, deployment of technical capabilities as part of small teams and providing remote tiered technical support to mission operators, analysts, and technical liaisons
    Must be willing to travel OCONUS for short term deployments Minimum Requirements:


    • Fourteen (14) years' experience as a System Engineer or in a similar type of capacity.
    • Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
    • Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Systems engineering experience specifically in the areas of GOTS/COTS SIGINT application and/or capabilities, development, integration, testing, certification, deployment, and training.
    • Experience authoring system engineering artifacts
    • Applicant must be a forward leaning self-starter requiring little daily oversight

    Security Clearance Requirements:

    • TS/SCI with Polygraph is required; however we are able to start with Conditional Certification of Access (CCA), with the understanding the polygraph process will begin shortly after start date

    Physical Requirements:

    • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of time
    • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer
    • Ability for clear communication with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations For all positions requiring access to technology/software source code that is subject to export control laws, employment with the company is contingent on either verifying U.S.-person status or obtaining any necessary license.
