    The Senior Applications Engineer will report into the Applications Engineering Manager and work hands on with electromechanics. This position will consist of project work, new product development and working directly with customers.

    Description

    The key responsibilities of the Senior Applications Engineer include, but are not limited to:

    • Collaborating with customers, sales representatives, and product engineering to comprehend customer requirements and provide product solutions.
    • Proposing products that are simple, reliable, cost-effective, and capable of meeting or surpassing customer expectations.
    • Conducting tests and feasibility studies to assess the technical applications of sensor products.
    • Designing sensor products in alignment with product requirements and customer specifications.
    • Documenting, implementing, and evaluating applicable design requirements for production.
    • Producing technical proposals to support quotations and orders, encompassing drawings, calculations, specifications, and other technical details.
    • Engaging in pre-production and prototype activities both in-house and with partner plants.

    Profile

    The successful Senior Applications Engineer will have the following background:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; preference for candidates with a Master's degree.
    • Proficient in Electrical and/or Mechanical CAD software.
    • 4+ years of experience in Product/Applications Engineering with comparable products.
    • Practical experience in electrical or mechanical assembly.
