- Coordinate care plans in alignment with Nursing Problem Care Sets and clinical guidelines.
- Provide patient care respecting rights, values, and preferences. Evaluate effectiveness of educational interventions.
- Alleviate patient fears through effective communication.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and staff for discharge planning.
- Standards of Performance
- Complete assessments and documentation following established guidelines.
- Educate patients on treatment plans and self-care.
- Work with Case Manager for appropriate referrals and discharge plans.
- Graduate of an approved RN program; current Michigan RN licensure required.
- Interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and staff.
- Ability to concentrate during stressful situations and perform professional nursing care.
- Ability to stand/walk continuously and lift patients.

DetailsFloat Group B (SICU, NICU, MICU, TCU). This position will provide coverage for the Float B areas mainly the ICU's. Responsibilities include taking a Float B assignment or providing patient/admission support across the ICU's for a given shift. Float B RNs will be assigned as the code rover to respond to Code Blue Calls throughout the hospital.
