    LEAD PROGRAM ANALYST with Security Clearance - naval air station jacksonville, United States - Department of Defense

    Description

    Duties * You will focus on the ability to encourage a group of individuals to operate as a team; and ensure the wellbeing of the team to enable them to get the job done.

    * You will review, analyze and monitor Funding Request(FR) for resource allocation.

    * You will develop and analyze a variety of cost and financial reports to monitor assigned reimbursable funds by Activity, PL or various aggregates.

    * You will ensure that the organization's strategic plan, mission, vision and values are communicated to the team. * You will coach the team in the selection and application of appropriate problem solving methods and techniques.

    * You will provide advice on work methods, practices and procedures, and assist the team and/or individual members in identifying the parameters of a viable solution.

    * You will monitor and report on the status and progress of work, checking on work in progress and reviewing completed work to see that the supervisor's instructions on work priorities, methods, deadlines and quality have been met.

    * You will research, learn and apply a wide range of qualitative and/or quantitative methods to identify, assess, analyze and improve team effectiveness, efficiency and work products.

    * You will report to the supervisor periodically on team and individual work accomplishments, problems, progress in mastering tasks and work processes, and individual and team training needs.

    Requirements Conditions of Employment * Must be a US Citizen. * Must be determined suitable for federal employment. * Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

    * Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.

    * You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty.

    * You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.

    * This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites.

    You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time. * This position is eligible for part time, full time or ad-hoc telework at the discretion of management.

    Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector 1) Encouraging a group of individuals to operate as a team 2) Providing leadership and direction to lower graded employees 3) Utilizing Navy Financial Systems, Applications and Financial data bases (CFMS, E-tracker and SABRS) and future financial systems (Navy-ERP) 4) Review, analyze, and monitor Funding Request (FR) for resource allocation 5) Developing new or modified processes and or administrative procedures 6) Maintain good working relations and work directly with Facilities Management Directors, Program Analyst and Facilities Support Contract Managers (FSCM) for reimbursable customers .

PHYSICAL DEMANDS The work is predominantly sedentary within an office setting. WORK ENVIRONMENT The employee works in an adequately lighted and ventilated office environment.
