    Job Title: Caregiver

    A flexible PRN (as needed) or part-time position is available with work hours that accommodate your schedule. As a Caregiver, you will support clients with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their daily activities.

    About the Position:

    • This is an entry-level opportunity for those with a caring nature and a desire to help others.
    • No prior experience is required.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Maintain ethical and professional communications at all times using respectful Trauma-Informed Care language.
    • Perform direct care for persons with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities in a residential setting.
    • Training, transporting, cooking, feeding, bathing, toileting, and other duties associated with daily living are key aspects of this role.
    • Adhere to TPC Business Code of Conduct and report concerns if ethical and/or business standards defined in the code are compromised.

    Required Qualifications:

    • No experience is necessary.
    • A high school diploma, GED, three written professional letters of recommendation, and completion of competency tests are acceptable qualifications.
    • One semester (12 credit hours) of accredited college work or minimum eighth-grade reading comprehension level as evidenced by score on the Adult Basic Learning Examination (ABLE) is also acceptable.
    • A valid Texas driver's license and insurability under agency vehicle policy are mandatory requirements.
    • You must be 18 years of age or older.
