    Full Time, Day Position

    The Clinical Registered Dietician (RD) at FF Thompson Health System and the Continuing Care Center is an intermediate level position.

    The RD is a senior position to the Diet Technician and reports to the Clinic Coordinator of Clinical Nutrition.

    The RD is considered an expert source of reliable nutrition info. for inpatients, outpatients, physicians and other staff.
    The primary role of the RD is to conduct patient nutritional screenings for purpose of identifying nutrition concerns.
    These concerns may be related to malnutrition, tube feeding, TPN, special diets and physical ailments related to disease.

    During patients interviews the RD performs an assessment of diet and education needs and then gives a recommendation to the physician for needed care.

    The RD is vital in the implementation of a care plan for the patient and monitoring of effectiveness of plan.


    Qualifications:

    Required:
    Registry Eligible Dietician.


    Preferred:
    Registered Dietitian.


    Required:
    CD-N.


    Required:
    Bachelor of Science in an accredited Dietetics/Nutrition Management program.

    Required:
    Successful completion of a clinical internship

    Preferred:
    Minimum 1 year experience working in a healthcare setting as a Dietitian or Diet Technician


    Pay Range:
    $ $35.00
