    Description

    Summary: Responsible for assisting in the development of project objectives by reviewing project proposals, plans, and coordinating with department managers.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    1. Determines project responsibilities through identifying project phases and elements, assigning personnel to those phases and elements, and reviewing bids from outside vendors.

    2. Sets project specifications by studying product design and performance standards.

    3. Prepares cost estimates and determines project schedule.

    4. Supports project management responsibilities, including coordination of contractor activities, communication to/among participants, budgeting, and reporting.

    5. Adheres to project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, resolving problems.

    6. Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends, recommending actions.

    7. Maintains project database by writing computer programs, entering and backing up data.

    8. Maintains product and company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations.

    9. Assists in effective project administration, including oversight of scope and budget(s).

    10. Ability to administrate over all departments budget issues and maintain adherence to budgets.

    11. Interacts closely with managers and supervisors in order to learn departmental operations.

    Requirements

    Education


    • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering preferred.

    Experience


    • Minimum of 3-5 years experience required.

    Specialized Knowledge


    • Computer software. Word, Excel and Auto CAD.

    Skills / Abilities


    • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload in order to meet tight deadlines in a fast paced and dynamic work environment.
