    Supply Technician 1 - Environmental Health & Safety

    Job Description

    The University of Nevada, Reno is looking for a detail-oriented Supply Technician 1 to be part of the Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) team.

    • Responsible for identifying, handling, and delivering chemical packages
    • Conducting physical inventories of chemicals in buildings and workspaces
    • Completing data entry tasks assigned by supervisors
    • Maintaining EH&S space in the Central Receiving warehouse
    • Performing inventory-related duties

    The ideal candidate will have the ability to follow procedures, work well with others, lift heavy packages, and communicate effectively. Knowledge of basic computer functions is a plus.

    Required Qualifications


    - Graduation from high school or equivalent


    - Two (2) years of relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience

    Prior to employment, candidates must undergo a pre-employment screening for controlled substances and possess a valid driver's license.

    Schedule

    Typical work hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, subject to change.

    Compensation Grade

    Grade 25 (Entry, Step 01 $18.40/hr - Step 03 $19.94/hr)

    In this role, salary is determined based on qualifications and internal factors.
