- Complete assessments, administer medications/treatment, observe patient's progress and evaluates therapies for clinical outcomes and effectiveness
- Collaborate with physicians and other medical professionals to develop an optimal health care plan for each patient
- Support and educate patients and their families to achieve maximum outcomes
- Follows guidelines of perianesthesia practice through recommendations of The American Society of PeriAnesthesia Nurses (ASPAN)
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- BLS/ACL/PALS required
- At least 1-2 years of work experience in a PACU, Critical Care, or ER preferred

Beverly Hospital, located in Beverly Massachusetts is part of the Beth Israel Lahey Health System. The Beverly PACU consists of 15 PACU bays, 10 Pre-op holding bays, and 6 Surgical Day Care bays. Beverly Hospital, located in Beverly Massachusetts is part of the Lahey Health System. We provide a wide range of specialties including; orthopedics, GYN, general, vascular, thoracic, spine, pediatrics, cystoscopy, and ENT.
The Perianesthesia Registered Nurse is responsible for providing safe patient care for patients before and after operative and other invasive procedures.
As a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Perianesthesia Team, you will be responsible for the following:Scheduled Hours:
32 hours per week(8 hour shifts) D/E based on the needs of the department. Weekend/night/holiday call rotation required. Potential rotation to Danvers Outpatient Surgery Center
