Morton Plant North Bay Hospital is West Pasco County's only not-for-profit community hospital and has 120 acute care beds.

Position Details:

• Location: 6600 Madison Street, New Port Richey, FL 34652
• Facility: Morton Plant North Bay Hospital
• Status: Full Time
• Shift: 6:45 AM - 3:15 PM
• On Call: Yes
• Always in person

The Operating Room RN responsibilities include:

• RN independently cares for a sub-specialty group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards
• RN delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team
• RN is responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization
• RN is also performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned

For this position, we strongly prefer at least 1 year RN experience in the Operating Room.

Requirements:

• Associate's Nursing or Diploma Nursing
• Preferred Bachelor's Nursing
• Preferred Nurse Specialty
• 1 year RN experience in the Operating Room preferred
  
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• RN (Registered Nurse)
• ACLS (Cardiovascular) if required by department
• Clinical skills appropriate to position
• Interpersonal skills
