    Description

    Join our team at Community Day Charter Public School (CDCPS) as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)!



    CDCPS is on the lookout for passionate individuals with exceptional academic backgrounds who are dedicated to helping our pre-kindergarten to 8th-grade students in Lawrence, MA succeed academically and emotionally. We believe in providing a robust student-centered academic program while investing in their overall well-being.



    Responsibilities (key tasks):

    • Evaluate and assess students' speech and language abilities
    • Develop and maintain programs based on set goals
    • Provide individual or small group services as needed
    • Collaborate with teachers to enhance students' communication needs
    • Integrate speech/language program into the curriculum
    • Create and review Educational Plans
    • Track student progress and maintain necessary documentation
    • Participate in parent conferences and meetings
    • Perform other assigned tasks


    Compensation:


    We offer a competitive compensation package with health benefits and a starting salary of $60,000 for Speech Language Pathologists. Educators also have opportunities to earn additional stipends.



    Qualifications:

    • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
    • Valid Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education Speech Pathologist License required
    • Previous experience with school-aged children preferred
    • Skills in collaborative planning and problem-solving
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Flexibility, patience, and sense of humor
    • Knowledge and experience with appropriate strategies
