    Description

The key to Hex's success has been our ability to hire and retain an exceptional team. As we look to our next phase of growth, we are looking for a Technical Sourcer who will manage and execute Hex's top-of-funnel strategy to meet our hiring goals.

Our Recruiting team is small, mighty, and still building. This is a unique opportunity to get in on the ground floor at a startup with a phenomenal team, product, and business. We will look to you as a key player on our Recruiting team on this exciting growth journey.

    What you'll do

    • Partner with some best-in-the-biz recruiters (previously Robinhood, Segment, TripActions, Affirm, Flexport) and hiring managers to understand hiring needs and drive quality volume at the top of the funnel for key roles, such as Product Engineers, PMs, and Engineering Leadership.
    • Develop creative strategies for engaging top talent through outbound prospecting, company marketing, networking, referrals, and events.
    • Take intro calls where you pitch candidates on Hex and assess if there could be a great mutual fit.
    • Leverage trends, data, research, networks, and your own industry knowledge to know where to go to find exceptional talent.
    • Build a solid understanding of Hex's business and culture in order to craft thoughtful, high-quality messaging.
    • Collaborate with the team to expand and elevate our top-of-funnel strategies.

    What you'll bring

    • At least 2 years of experience successfully sourcing qualified candidates into technical roles at companies with high hiring-bars standards.
    • Interest and passion for implementing strategies that help increase the top-of-funnel of talent from historically underrepresented groups in tech.
    • An ability to define, develop, and execute scalable and successful sourcing plans to meet hiring goals.
    • Experience with sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem) and strong sourcing fundamentals, such as boolean creation and company talent mapping.
    • Great attention to detail and exceptional verbal and written communication.
    • Experience taking pitch and screening calls.
    • Ability to be self-directed and comfortable with some change and ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
    • Experience as a great team player who can build strong relationships with recruiters, hiring managers, interviewers, and candidates.

    About the role

This is an hourly contractor position. We are targeting to onboard as soon as possible and looking for someone who can commit to a minimum of 25 hours per week for at least 3 months. The ideal candidate will be communicative with their competing time constraints and commitments and have flexibility and interest to flex up on number of hours per week if needed. This contract will have the possibility of extension based on performance and/ or company hiring needs.
