Expected work schedule for the Houston Ministry Leader:

We offer flexible full or part time schedules. Overtime or weekends may be required for specific events as well as attendance at the annual IFI retreat.

Pay structure for a Houston Ministry Leader:

IFI provides training in order to equip Houston Ministry Leaders in personal fundraising. The Houston Ministry Leader will develop a team of partners to cover financial needs such as salary, benefits, ministry expenses, and pray for their ministry. A Houston Ministry Leader can expect a salary of $24,960-$72,800 based on experience and other factors.

About the Area and Responsibilities of a Houston Ministry Leader

There's an amazing opportunity to reach thousands of international students from all over the world with the good news in the Houston, TX area. There are more than 15,000 international students at Rice, the University of Houston, Houston Community College, and others. A Houston Houston Houston Ministry Leader with IFI will work with local churches to serve international students in Houston and share the good news This position is part of the Houston ministry team and requires the candidate to live near the campus on which they will be serving.

The Houston Ministry Leader will establish a ministry location by building relationships with university staff, church partners, and volunteers. The Houston Ministry Leader will engage in personal ministry as well as mobilize others to host Bible studies, plan cultural events, and share the Gospel. It is vital that the Houston Ministry Leader establish IFI as a recognized student org, maintain good relationships with the campus, and maintain financial and prayer support for the budgeted needs of the role.

Qualifications Needed from the Houston Ministry Leader, including Spiritual Characteristics

The Houston Ministry Leader must adhere to IFI's statement of faith, core values, and policies. The Houston Ministry Leader must be a person of character who faithfully extends God's love globally by mobilizing Christians to effectively communicate the Gospel in the context of various cultures.

Education/Experience for a Houston Ministry Leader

• Demonstrated ministry, training and mobilization experience required
• Experience in cross-cultural ministry, preferred
• College degree preferred
