Position
Summary
This position has the overall
responsibility for inventory management of all gas and liquid cylinders within
the company. This position is
responsible for the tracking and utilization of all gas and liquid cylinders, including
the management of the cylinder adjustment process.
Position Accountabilities
Cylinder Asset Management: ensure efficient asset utilization by monitoring and
controlling stocking levels at locations to meet market demand. Where
necessary, accommodate asset needs through excess cylinder stock transfer or
capital investment. Manage and report on cylinder utilization.
Quarterly Cylinder Inventory: manage and conduct Quarterly Cylinder Inventory for all
cylinder assets and bulk products in storage vessels.
Asset Tracking: accountable for implementation, reporting, and ongoing
activities associated with maintaining the barcode tracking system.
Management of Cylinder Adjustment
Process: monitor and manage cylinder
adjustments in TIMS, including oversight of customer cylinder balance
adjustment process and management of approval process in adjusting customer
balances.
Education
College degree or commensurate experience
Experience/Technical Knowledge
Knowledge of inventory management and control processes
Team player with ability to effectively communicate through excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities
Computer literacy with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
