RMA is seeking a Patient Services Coordinator (Northern NJ Float) whose primary location will be our West Orange, NJ office.
This position requires travel between our Englewood, Morristown, Jersey City, Springfield, Basking Ridge offices.This is a full-time opportunity; Monday

• Friday from 5:30AM 1:30PM and/or 8:30AM to 4:30PM depending on the shift needed and working two holidays a year out of Basking Ridge.

Responsibilities include:

Welcome and greet patients and visitorsMaximize new patient intake opportunitiesSchedule patient appointmentsFollow physician appointment templatesAssess schedule conflicts and provide recommended solutionsMaintain patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating patient demographic, financial and insurance informationCollect co-pays and patient paymentsWork with the nurses to coordinate total patient careCollaborate with the Finance Department to ensure all reimbursement/insurance information has been receivedMaintain a professional composed demeanorComfort patients by anticipating patients' anxieties; answering patients' questionsMaintain a safe, clean and comfortable reception environment at all timesSkills & Requirements:High energy, excellent interpersonal and multi-tasking skills, and demonstrated self-directed work ethic are required.

Must be willing to travel to our South Jersey sites on limited noticeHigh School Diploma (GED) required. Associate degree preferredMinimum 1 year experience as a medical office receptionistExcellent computer skillsExcellent listening/interpersonal, and communication skillsAptitude to work independently and demonstrate good judgmentAbility to work in a high standard, stressful environmentMust be available to work weekends and overtime as neededMust be available to rotate to RMANJ satellite offices as needed
