    The Client Development Assistant role is part of the Department's core support structure. While this role supports Client Development, it may, as needed, be called upon to assist with other initiatives or Department functions.

    What You'll Do:

    • Track lawyer CD activity including outreach to clients and prospective clients, speaking engagements, and conference attendance.
    • Provide support with respect to directory and award submissions including updating templates, managing references, and promoting successful outcomes.
    • Maintain marketing material, including collateral, pitch material, matter descriptions, and lawyer biographies.
    • Support the process of developing pitches, proposals, and RFP responses.
    • Perform basic competitive intelligence and marketing research for client and prospective client opportunities.
    • Assist with logistics of thought leadership development and promotion including through firm and individual social media channels.
    • Additional responsibilities as needed.

    Who You Are:

    • BA, BS or equivalent.
    • Preferred experience (co-op, internships, entry-level experience) in marketing, and in a professional services environment strongly preferred.
    • Effective and professional communication skills.
    • Positive attitude with the ability to think objectively and work both independently and within a team.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects while prioritizing assignments.
    • Ability to build rapport with attorneys and other professional staff.
    • Strong organizational skills with particular attention to detail.
    • Excellent writing skills.
    • Strong computer skills, including web-based research, MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
