Insight Global is looking for a Data Analyst for an Oil & Gas client located in Sugarland, Tx for the Indirect Procurement organization. This person will be joining a team of 3 of their peers and reporting the Sr. Procurement Manager and working closely with another Procurement Manager. This role will be responsible for communicating with external vendors as well as internal stakeholders such as HR, Indirect and Direct Procurement, Purchasing and the Logistics departments. This individual will be assisting with various Procurement projects including a data deep dive into the organizations spend, this spend will be about $100M. This role includes pulling data out of Power BI to review as well as entering in new data into the system, reviewing invoices and if a project needs reaching out to internal teams globally. This person will need to be able to multitask and think analytically when reviewing and entering the data they will be responsible for. This position is onsite 4 days out of the week with allowing 1 day to be WFH, this is dependent on what days the rest of the team will be in the office.

Must-haves

Associates Degree

1+ years of experience within a Procurement, Logistics, Supply Chain role

Proficient Excel skills and with Microsoft Products

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience with Data Entry and Data Review

Analytical skills

1-2 years of experience within Data Analytics within Supply Chain or Procurement

Ability to Multi-task

Experience working in an ERP system

Experience working with SAP

Advanced Excel skills including V-lookups, advanced formulas
