- Oversee SMX's Federal Accelerator offering that helps Independent Software Vendors (ISV's) offer their SaaS solutions to Public Sector customers
- Help customers and other team members navigate the FedRAMP authorization process
- Work with customers to identify and document enhancement's to SMX's existing offerings and capabilities; drive the internal process to develop these enhancements
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams on go to market activities
- Develop thought leadership material to enhance our go to market effort
- Manage and grow a team of dedicated and qualified Information Assurance professionals to deliver great results for our customers
- Engage with SMX channel partners to supplement our capabilities and drive growth of the offering
- Deep familiarity with the FedRAMP Authorization (ATO) process and experience generating artifacts as part of this process
- Experience managing matrixed teams
- Experience working with AWS, Azure Cloud, and GCP services Desired Skills / Certs:
- Experience working for a FedRAMP 3PAO or as an outside auditor for software companies
- Experience with the DoD Cloud Computing Security Requirements Guide (SRG)
- Security+ Certification
- AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification

Federal Accelerator Product Leader - Washington, United States - SMX
Description
SMX is seeking a Senior Manager, Federal Accelerator Lead, to be responsible for the strategic management of all Federal Accelerator projects, working closely with program managers, ISSOs, and architects in the execution of customer requirements.
He/she will develop a competitive go-to-market strategy for engaging potential customers (ISVs) and will define the processes by which customer delivery will be guided.
They will coordinate closely with the Director of Engineering on project delivery and with Sales/Business Development executives to grow the business.
This role will also manage the IA/ISSO staff responsible for project delivery, ensuring that best practices are followed and partnering to develop artifacts and documentation as required to support Federal Accelerator clients.
