- Perform clinical laboratory procedures and examinations and any other tests or procedures conducted by the Chemistry and Hematology Laboratories.
- Functions as a Lead Tech.
- Adhere to departmental, hospital, and governmental regulations.
- Train personnel in technical methodologies and interpretation of results.
- Maintain laboratory inventory and statistics.
- Assigns appropriate staff to ensure a smooth workflow.
- Assist in coordinating administrative operations for the laboratory.
- Duties and responsibilities are not limited to the above description.
- B.S Degree or equivalent in Medical Technology, Physical or Biological science required.
- NY State Clinical Laboratory Technologist License required.
- ASCP certification preferred.
