    Description:
    Review airline repair documentation to identify structural repairs installed on the airplane. Make sure that the required approval documentation is provided for the repairs. Document the supplemental inspections requirements and request tracking or verify tracking has been set up in SCEPTRE.

    Additionally, review the Harmonized Structural Defect Alert (HSDA) system to make sure that the structural repairs classified as Major are recorded in the system and complete the Damage Tolerance Evaluation (DTE) section.

    Create a records EA to document the airplane's structural repairs, supplemental inspection requirements, inspection tracking information, and HSDA number for Major repairs.

    Top 3 to 5 skillsets / years of experience


    • Airframe Major Repair, Large Transport Category Aircraft
    • Aging Aircraft Safety Rule (CFR
    • Damage Tolerance Evaluation requirements Surrounding team/key projects
    • Base Support Engineering
    • Review/transfer of existing major repairs
    • Review/transfer of Damage Tolerance tracking on all applicable repairs
