- Lead and mentor a team of Pre-Construction Project Managers, Industrial Designers, Estimators, and 3rd party SME resources.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.
- Visit clients with the Sales and PreCon team to pitch & win business
- Ensure the culture, values and behaviors of our people are aligned to the organization
- Training and upskilling of new and existing team members
- Manage the flow of opportunities through the documented Pre-Construction process, ensuring all appropriate steps are followed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional matrix teams to ensure seamless transition from pre-construction to project delivery.
- Oversee development of Proposals and Proposal Documentation
- Ensure that the relevant SME's are brought into the design phase at the designated check-in points, to ensure clients are receiving industry leading but compliant designs
- Utilize your engineering background to provide technical oversight and guidance.
- Dedicate time every week to work "on the business not in the business" to develop and execute strategic improvement plans for the pre-construction phase to optimize client and company outcomes.
- Continually build the team capability
- Collaborate with executive leadership to align pre-construction goals with overall business objectives.
- Solicitation and feedback received from multiple sub-contractors for each discipline
- Meeting minutes are tabulated during every client meeting and distributed within 24 hours of meeting
- Delivery PM and Engineering input is obtained at the established check-in points, and cost/timeframe buy-in is solicited
- High quality 3D renderings of the solutions are being created
- Identify potential risks in the pre-construction phase and develop mitigation strategies.
- Monitor and evaluate risk factors to ensure proactive decision-making.
- Implement quality control measures to guarantee the accuracy and completeness of pre-construction deliverables.
- Conduct regular audits to assess adherence to quality standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Proven experience in project management with a focus on industrial equipment and construction.
- Demonstrated success in leading high-performance teams in a technical project environment.
- Must have EXCELLENT written and verbal skills.

- Working from open plan office at least 80% of time, some work from home acceptable
- Open Plan style very collaborative office environment without private offices
- Standard Work week M-F 7:00AM to 5:00PM
- 4-6 Days Per Month US / Canadian Travel
