DESCRIPTION:
The ESY School Social Worker, School Counselor, or School Psychologist plays a vital role in supporting the holistic well-being of students during the Extended School Year program. This position delivers targeted social-emotional services to students, families, and the school community, empowering students to fully engage in and benefit from the educational experience.
The successful candidate will provide individualized and group counseling services to students and their families, fostering meaningful connections between home and school. Additionally, this role requires the ability to apply crisis intervention strategies, effectively mobilizing school and community resources to address and resolve critical situations as they arise.
