    Job Summary

    We are looking for a Client Success Specialist to join our team at Good Energy, LP. In this role, you will be responsible for managing daily tasks, as well as long-term strategies, and assisting with client engagement for our Community Electricity Aggregation (CEA) programs in New England. These programs, also known as municipal aggregation, provide cities and towns with a powerful tool to decarbonize, combat climate change, and control costs while managing their community's electricity supply. As part of the team, you will have the opportunity to engage with municipal decision-makers, work with experienced electricity-market professionals, and contribute innovative ideas to various aspects of our business.

    • Manage Clients: Directly engage with clients to develop goals and timelines, provide updates on deliverables, educate on program fundamentals
    • Project Manage: Oversee timelines and assign responsibilities for key milestones of aggregation plan development, program launch, contract renewal, etc.
    • Develop Documents & Materials: Assist with creating educational and promotional materials, lead the development of presentations
    • Integrate with Team Specialists: Collaborate with team members in different areas of expertise

    This is a hybrid position with a requirement of 2-3 days per week of in-person work at our Boston office, located near Back Bay station. Candidates must be based in the region and attend client meetings, specifically in MA. The New England team receives support from our central services staff in New York City.     About Good Energy

    Good Energy is a leading consultant in Community Electricity Aggregation (CEA), operating programs for city and town governments. Our programs allow communities to choose the type, source, and price of electricity for their residents. We structure electricity procurements to help manage costs and support clean energy. With over 200 CEA programs nationwide, the New England team currently works with 60+ cities and towns in MA and RI, with over 1 million households enrolled in our programs. We aim to accelerate the growth of clean energy in the region and beyond.

    Example of Duties

    • Learn existing team processes for major project deliverables
    • Develop and communicate plans for project deliverables to clients
    • Communicate complex energy concepts to clients
    • Analyze program participation and enrollment
    • Provide customer support to residents and businesses
    • Lead development and presentation of program updates
    • Manage and update internal client database

    Local travel within MA and RI and occasional evening meetings are part of this role. The position reports to the Director of Innovation, New England.

    Qualifications

    • Two (2) years of professional experience or one (1) year with a Master's degree
    • Experience in project or major client deliverable management
    • Strong multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
    • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, public speaking)

    Preferred Qualities

    • Entrepreneurial and creative mindset
    • Interest in renewable energy and climate change mitigation
    • Experience with G-Suite programs for collaboration

    Compensation & Benefits

    This is a full-time position with competitive compensation ranging from $70,000 - $75,000 based on experience. Good Energy offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, flexible spending accounts, retirement plans, paid holidays, and competitive paid time off.
