    Opening with our industrial client for a Senior Automation Engineer.

    Looking for a Senior Automation Engineer with a background in one or more of the following industries:
    Oil & Natural Gas, Petrochemical, Chemical, Food and Beverage, Steel, Water/Waste Water, Power Generation, or other Specialty space.
    Essential FunctionsResponsible for the specification, programming, integration, and implementation of various control systems including DCS/PLC/HMI/SCADA platforms and applicationsLead I/O and loop checks, as well as all commissioning and startup activities, including progress reports, meetings, and punch-listsLead projects from conception through commissioning and startupLead a team of engineers to execute scope within budget and maintain go-live commitmentsVisit job-sites to evaluate projects and define scope in order to develop proposals from walk-downsDevelop and support proposal development according to scope definitionReview vendor drawings for compliance with project specificationsRead, understand, and translate P&ID's and electrical drawings into a DCS/PLC/HMI applicationQualificationsBachelor's Degree in Engineering requiredMinimum 10+ years in a technical leadership role on Automation and Controls projects, including Commissioning and StartupPE or Master's degree in related Engineering field a plusAutomation System training/certification a plusAbility to execute and lead multiple projects simultaneouslyExperience configuring control systems for various industries and facilitiesUnderstands many other aspects of Industrial Automation, including roles of BPCS and SIS, Instrumentation, Communication protocols, and Networking and CybersecurityMust be very organized, detail oriented, with the ability to identify outliers quicklyDemonstrated field troubleshooting ability, both electrically (panel) and logically (PLC/DCS)Ability to travel to customer sites as required, with travel expectations averaging around 25%Senior Automation Engineer #J-18808-Ljbffr
