    Various Senior Litigation roles in both NY and DC.

    Job functions and requirements listed below:

    JOB FUNCTIONS:

    • Ability to perform legal research, draft correspondence, cite-check, bluebook, and analyze pleadings.
    • Experience with litigation document review databases, case management databases, and e-discovery software.
    • Understands Litigation protocols, an ability to anticipate attorney needs, an ability to exercise independent judgment.
    • Experience overseeing junior level paralegals.
    • Ability to coordinate and manage case documents, including organization, substantive review and preparation of documents for production.
    • Experience with Trial preparation and logistics
    • Experience attending Trial
    • Attends client meetings, coordination meetings, and legal proceedings
    • Provides legal project management
    • Supervises Project Assistants, Paralegals and Senior Paralegals on assigned tasks
    • Maintains notary license in local jurisdiction.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Trial experience is required
    • Strong knowledge of state and federal rules
    • Knowledge of legal principles, practices, laws, and regulations
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Understanding of legal processes and practice-group specific procedures
    • Excellent attention to detail
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality, and to exercise discretion and good judgment
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and practice-group specific software.
