    Insight Global is looking for an Embedded Engineer to work for a DoD customer based out of Warren, MI. This team is responsible for developing controllers, test equipment, and electrical solutions in support of Army advanced technologies. The primary responsibility of the Embedded Engineer is software/hardware integration for microprocessors.

    This individual will be responsible for understanding behavior of systems and developing embedded devices to test military electronic control equipment.

    This team runs in an agile/scrum environment. The ideal candidate will be upbeat with a student mentality. This role will require a secret clearance and Insight Global will process the ideal candidate for an interim clearance

    Required Skills & Experience


    • 5+ years of experience working with embedded software
    • Extensive experience developing with C++
    • Experience working with embedded processors
    • Experience working in a linux environment
    • Radio/video processing experience
    • Ability to obtain a secret clearance
    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering related
    • Must be upbeat/eager to learn

    • Avionics experience
    • FMEA experience
    • Hardware integration experience
    • Vehicle integration experience
    • Experience working with military vehicles
