Our Internal medicine practice, located in Corona, Queens is seeking for a full-time experienced Physician Assistant (PA) to work in our practice. Certification and experience as a Physician assistant are required. As a PA, you will learn and grow along with the clinic, making a positive impact in our practice and in the patient's lives by bringing quality care.

Working one-on-one with patients as PA, you will provide routine medical care and monitor the flow of onboarded patients with the support of a competitive salary and training, the experience you will gain in this role is endless.

Duties include but are not limited to:

· Organizing the clinical setting and providing support in patient care situations.

· Support physicians who attend along with various other procedures under the direct supervision and responsibility of a medical provider.

· Assists the provider with the collection, documentation, processing, and verification of patient care-related information in an EMR system.

· Help other team members identify the patient's needs or problems.

· Communicating data to the other providers if needed, or other members of the clinical team.

· Coordinate with clinic staff to ensure a positive flow of patients, waiting room, and examination room experience.

· Prepare the patient to be seen by the doctor, collect vital signs and tests as required by the health care provider.

· Ensure that policies and procedures are adhered to, maintaining continued discretion with sensitive and confidential matters.

Other responsibilities and Duties:

· Primary Responsibilities: Conducting Patient Interviews and Taking Medical Records

· Perform physical exams

· Order and interpret diagnostic tests and examinations

· Diagnose diseases

· Formulate treatment plans

· Coordinate and manage care

· Perform medical procedures

· Prescribe medications

· Conduct clinical research

· Provide advice to the patient

· Offer advice on preventive health care

· Respect patient confidentiality always and treat patients with empathy.

Qualifications and skills:

· Completion of an Accredited Physician Assistant Program is a must.

· Two or more years of experience in an outpatient clinic or other health care setting. Two or more years of customer service.

· Experience working with an EMR system, (Eclinical works is a plus).

· Bilingual is essential (SPANISH ENGLISH).

· Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding.

Compensation Plan:

· Salary: $130,000 - $160,000 per year

· Paid CME

· 2 weeks paid of vacation

· 3 sick days

· 2 personal days

· 401K 3% match

· Bonus upon performance

· Paid Malpractice insurance

· Health care insurance
