Description

• Collect and sort recyclables and garbage one to two times daily.
• Pick up litter and wash out garbage and recycling containers as needed.
• Familiarize oneself with resort property, emergency procedures, and policies to provide quick action in any case of emergency, or any action that may interfere with the normal flow of daily business at the resort.
• Report immediately any violations of policies or procedures to supervisor or management.
• Perform grounds keeping and building maintenance duties.
• Mow lawn either by hand or using a riding lawnmower
• Cut lawn using hand, power or riding mower and trim and edge around walks, flower beds, and walls.
• Answer pager calls as needed.
• Deal with employees and guests in a manner that reflects the professional standards as set by the resort and maintenance department.
• Keeps work areas free from safety hazards by reporting hazards to the supervisors to maintain safe working environment.
• Attends meetings to maintain favorable working relationships among company employees and promote maximum morale, productivity, and efficiency.
• Keeps immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance coming to his/her attention to facilitate corrective action when appropriate.
• Performs other duties as required or requested.

• Must have a current, valid driver's license (i.e., not probationary, or occupational). Once hired, if any change in status occurs to driver's license, it must be reported immediately to the department head and may result in termination.
• Physical Requirements

• Must be able to bend, stoop, stretch, and twist
• Work on feet for 8hour shift.
• Must be able to lift a maximum of 60 lbs.
