Senior Medical Image Reconstruction Algorithm Engineer to join our medical imaging team.
In this role, you would apply medical image reconstruction algorithms to the research and development of an image-guided medical robotic system for lung intervention.
As a team of algorithm engineers with varying specialties, you would be primarily focused on CT/CBCT/tomosynthesis image reconstruction algorithms such as FDK, iterative reconstruction, model-based reconstruction, metal artifact reduction, and deep learning-based reconstruction.
A Day In The Life Of Our Senior Algorithm Engineer - Medical Imaging Reconstruction:Work with users and a well-established team to understand clinical needs and invent innovative image-guided intervention solutionsResearch, prototype, and iterate algorithmic solutions to medical imaging problems to establish industry leadershipContribute high-quality software to create medical products that are safe and effectivePerform engineering evaluations, support clinical testing, and draft technical/regulatory documentationAbout You:
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience after completing undergraduate degreeMS/PhD degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Radiology or other related programs; PhD is highly desiredProficient programming skills in C++ / Python; effective object oriented programming Extensive knowledge in X-ray / CT medical imaging physicsExtensive hands-on expertise in CT/CBCT/tomosynthesis image reconstruction algorithms: FDK, iterative reconstruction, model-based reconstruction, metal artifact reduction and deep learning-based reconstruction Solid foundation of mathematics and analytical skillsSolid understanding and hands-on experience in machine learning and deep learningProduct development experience in commercializing relevant algorithms is highly preferredExperience with algorithm acceleration and CUDA is highly preferred Knowledge and experience of medical image analysis (segmentation, registration) is highly preferredKnowledge and experience of computer vision and medical image visualization is preferredA passion to applying cutting-edge technologies to solve real-world medical problemsExcellent communication, teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving skills
