What are we looking for in our Automation Engineer?


Job Title:
Automation Engineer

Location: 100% Remote

Duration: 4 months contract on W2

Pay Range:
$50/h - $58/h on W2, DOE

The consultant is expected to be familiar with SOAR automation as it supports triage and incident response within a SOC setting.

Building automated solutions for manual and repetitive tasks that our analysts are faced with. Enable analysts and responders with faster decision-making and response actions. Develop key metrics that support the automation engineer team.

Skills:

2+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering roles.

Specific experience with SOAR technologies including Splunk SOAR (Phantom) or similar (Tines, Swimlane, Chronicle, Sentinel, etc.).

Experience building automation solutions for security teams.

Solid understanding of triage and incident response pain points and proficiency at developing solutions.

Python scripting language proficiency is desired.

Experience with PowerBI or similar analytics tools is a plus.


Education:
Bachelors degree or higher.

Certificates related to SOAR or automation are pluses.
