The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the planning phase of our construction projects, ensuring that all aspects of the work are thoughtfully considered and planned for before construction begins.
The Preconstruction Manager will work closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure that the project is feasible, cost-effective, and meets the client's expectations.
Lead the preconstruction phase of projects, including estimating, budgeting, scheduling, and planning.Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to develop a comprehensive understanding of the project.
Conduct thorough risk assessments and propose mitigation strategies.
Participate in project bidding, ensuring that all bids are competitive and accurate.
Oversee the design-build process, ensuring that all designs are feasible and meet the project's specifications.
Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring that all contracts are fair and beneficial.
Monitor the project's progress, making adjustments to the preconstruction plan as necessary.
Bachelor's degree in engineering (i.e. civil, architectural or construction), construction management or related field
