    PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

Rotation positions are based in: Baltimore, MD Newark, DE Chicago, IL Philadelphia, PA

    PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

    • Learn, prepare, and participate in key financial process and regulatory activities, including budgeting, forecasting, analytics, business support, general accounting, reporting, and regulatory filing support. Develop financial systems skills and work with financial systems team to troubleshoot, mitigate, and resolve forecasting and planning concerns.
    • Assist in preparation of various reports and data requests and answers ad-hoc requests for internal and external reporting customers. Assist in developing clear and meaningful financial reporting, commentary, and variance analysis
    • Serve as a member of Exelon Finance Team with responsibilities for ensuring a financial perspective is brought to daily operations, proper classification (O&M vs Capital) and treatment is followed, and compliance with all managerial policies.
    • Partner with other business units to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of information exchange
    • Offer ideas and recommendations for continuous improvement in financial and business processes
    • Actively promote a positive team environment. Participate in quarterly trainings and mentoring to enhance career development, job satisfaction, individual performance, and personal fulfillment.

    Qualifications

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    4-year degree in financial related field of study Understanding of fundamental financial analysis and accounting principles Effective written and verbal communication skills Effective computer-based analytical skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Has the ability, curiosity, and willingness to learn (has an inquisitive mindset) Must be flexible, proactive and able to work with ambiguity

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    Graduate in December of 2023 or Spring in 2024
