    Description

    Job Description

    GulfSouth Autism Center provides personalized treatment plans for children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, focusing on skills like social interactions, language communication, and social development. We are currently seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist (OTR) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our interdisciplinary clinic in Baton Rouge and Prairieville, LA.

    • Responsibilities:
    • Conduct thorough evaluations (OTR only)
    • Develop and implement treatment plans
    • Complete required documentation: evaluations, progress notes, treatment plans, and home exercise programs
    • Maintain regular communication with parents/caregivers
    • Collaborate with fellow professionals, including BCBAs, clinical directors, and SLPs
    • Provide staff training as necessary

    Requirements:

    • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy for OTR
    • Certification for OTA
    • Active Louisiana state Licensure
    • Prior experience working with children with autism spectrum disorders or developmental delays
