    • Implementing strategies for curriculum planning and delivery
    • Providing professional development and creating development plans for teaching staff
    • Managing staff performance and development
    • Contributing to policy development for teaching and learning
    • Overseeing the school's education program

    Responsibilities

    Recognizing the importance of leadership and teaching excellence for student achievement, leading teachers may perform various key roles including: leading whole-school improvement initiatives, managing curriculum strategies, providing professional development, and overseeing staff performance and development.

    This position is open to teachers registered with the Victorian Institute of Teaching and qualified to teach in the specified curriculum area(s).

    Position Description

    Inclusion Leader at Wyndham Central College

    Wyndham Central College is looking for an Inclusion Leader (Leading Teacher) to focus on supporting students with disabilities and additional needs, ensuring they are fully engaged in learning and achieving their educational goals.

    • Advocating for students with disabilities and additional needs
    • Supporting students' transition to school
    • Developing quality individual education plans (IEPs)
    • Empowering teachers to implement IEPs effectively
    • Promoting high expectations for students with disabilities

    VIT LANTITE
