    • We welcome you to our unit by providing educational enhancements and a comprehensive orientation to ensure you are prepared to care for those who entrust us with their care.# Our 17-bed ICU/CSICU is home to highly-trained staff who care for a wide-range of patients (neonates to geriatrics) and is equipped with state-of-the-art technology.# We provide care for cardiovascular patients who have undergone coronary artery bypass grafting, thoracotomy, carotid stenting, heart valve replacement or repair, as well as a variety of other vascular related interventions.# Our team is very experienced in caring for those undergoing interventional and non-interventional procedures, general surgery procedures, and advanced therapies requiring specialized equipment such as intra-aortic balloon pumps (IABP), induced hypothermia, extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO), and the Impella Heart Pump.

    Responsibilities:
    Provide direct patient care for assigned patients on the nursing unit and providing leadership within the nursing team.

    Utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan implement and evaluate the plan of care for patients served, through the model of Shared Governance.

    Collaborate with all members of the health care team with a focus on promoting evidence based care within a healing culture for the patient population served and their families.


    Job Requirements:

    Education:
    Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.# ADN required.# BSN Preferred.


    Licensure:
    # Current Arkansas or Compact State RN License in good standing. Minimum of one (1) year experience preferred.


    Certifications:
    ##BLS required. ACLS within the first six months of employment.


    Other:
    # Ability to read, write and communicate effectively.# Basic computer knowledge required.
