    Overview:

    St. Lukes Health System in Boise is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Telemetry team

    Full-time 0.9 FTE, 12-hour shift and Day/Night options. Let's chat

    Unit Summary

    Boise Tele includes both Telemetry Units, 3 Tele and 7 East. 3 Tele, a Cardiac Telemetry Population, provides care to patients with Primary Cardiac Diagnosis and procedures. 7 East, a Medical Telemetry Population, provides care to patients with acute and chronic complex medical diagnosis that may or may not require telemetry monitoring.

    The Boise Telemetry Units contribute to the mission and vision of the medical center by providing highly skilled acute nursing care to our community.

    Our nursing staff value teamwork, excellence in their work, and caring for their patients. Nursing on 7 East and on 3 Tele requires a strong work ethic, resilience and strong critical thinking skills. We enjoy supporting and mentoring nurses in all stages of their career.

    Responsibilities

    • Identifies patient needs and determines priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation
    • Develops, implements and coordinates individualized plan of care for patients assigned through initial and on-going assessments
    • Initiates assessment based on the patient's problems or needs, the physician's medical diagnosis, and the functional health framework
    • Performs therapeutic nursing interventions
    • Manages care of patients
    • Documents care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and/or clinical priorities
    • Advocates for evidence-based practice care standards and supports adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery
    • Provides patient centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice model
    • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

    Qualifications

    • Education: Nursing Degree
    • Experience: One (1) + years' RN experience
    • Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice
