    Job Summary

    In this role, you will provide advanced technical support and expertise to our customers in the Industrial Automation (IA) business unit. You will troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring the successful implementation of our solutions and driving customer satisfaction.

    You will have hands-on experience with PLC systems, sensors, motors, inverters, control panels, hydraulics, pneumatics, and gearboxes. You will conduct both preventive and reactive maintenance tasks using CMMS to report work orders and provide breakdown data.

    You will be responsible for performing maintenance and troubleshooting for all electrical and mechanical aspects of Material Handling Equipment (MHE), such as conveyor systems, sortation systems, robotics, and Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS). You will adjust and maintain scanners, cameras, field buses, and printer applicators.

    You will also reset, repair, or replace adjustable parts (belts, chains, cables) and wear components (guides, bearings, wheels, rollers, pulleys). You will clean, lubricate, and calibrate equipment as required and follow job plans, procedures, and manuals for efficient service.

    The ability to lift 25 pounds individually and 50 pounds as a two-person team is required. You must be able to work above your head for extended periods of time while standing, laying, or seated. You will also need to safely climb / descend / work on ladders and stairs frequently.

    You must have at least 2 years of relevant experience or education in Material Handling Equipment, including conveyors, sortation systems, and mechanical troubleshooting/maintenance/installation. Strong technical expertise in Industrial Automation technologies is also required.

    We value experience maintaining conveyor systems, familiarity with Honeywell Intelligrated Conveyor Systems, proficiency in Mechanical, Electrical, and Motor Controls troubleshooting, strong mentorship and guidance skills, and a continuous learning mindset.
