- Assemble or modify electrical and mechanical control sub-assemblies using blueprints, schematics, or written work instructions. Work may include fitting or soldering parts together.
- Conduct tests on electrical assemblies to ensure quality and performance.
- Follow schedule provided by supervisor or designee.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance product quality and reduce costs.
- Work with various tools and materials including hand tools, measuring instruments, adhesives, and epoxies.
- Test and inspect condition of returned materials for credit eligibility.
- Two-year electronic technical degree or certificate preferred.
- Minimum of one-year electromechanical experience.
- Understanding of basic electronic and mechanical theory for systems to answer technical questions.
- Able to read schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Must be able to read a ruler, including metric measurements.
- Knowledge of inventory procedures and record keeping.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and willingness to interface with customers, vendors, and internal company personnel.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Proactive attitude towards challenges and new ideas.
