    Description

    Join a Dynamic Sales Team at Applied Industrial Technologies

    As a Technical Sales & Service Representative, you will leverage your industrial rubber and application knowledge to deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive sales growth.

    You will be responsible for providing technical customer support, problem-solving, and product sourcing while building strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders. Your expertise will directly impact customer satisfaction, retention, and sales results.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide technical customer support and problem-solving for rubber applications, systems, and components.
    • Act as a professional point of contact for customer quotes and product sourcing.
    • BUILD CUSTOMER SATISFACTION AND SALES BY PROVIDING ASSISTANCE FOR PRODUCT SELECTION, INTERCHANGE & REPLACEMENTS, CYCLE TIME REDUCTIONS, AND IMPROVING OVERALL CUSTOMER SATISFACTION.
    • Maintain timely and accurate reporting.

    Requirements

    • Minimum 2 years of proven customer service or sales experience.
    • Possess excellent English grammar skills, written and verbal.
    • Able to read and understand technical drawings.
    • Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
    • Demonstrate effective listening, negotiation, and questioning skills.
    • Able to quickly learn new processes and systems.
    • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
    • Able to pass a DOT medical examination and drug screen.
    • Industrial rubber products application knowledge (conveyor belting, fabrication, splicing) is preferred.
